Each Rockville instructor goes through a rigorous hiring process that consists of numerous screenings, auditions, and interviews. Once hired, our instructors go through a comprehensive training program and are frequently evaluated to ensure consistent excellence for our students.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING AND MAKE-UP OPTIONS 7 DAYS A WEEK IN ROCKVILLE
We offer several strings lesson times during the week and weekend to accommodate your busy schedule. Additionally, our Rockville location is open year-round, including during the summer. We also make it easy to change your lesson time, cancel your lesson, or perform a make-up class with our unlimited schedule change policy. And, if you can’t come in for your make-up lesson, you can request a video make-up lesson from your instructor instead.
BIANNUAL RECITALS IN ROCKVILLE
At Expressions Music Academy, we offer optional biannual recitals for our students. Through recitals, students can showcase their newly-learned skills and gain experience performing in front of an audience (not to mention show their parents the progress they are making with their lessons). We offer several different recital options and themes performed in our Rockville concert hall twice a year. Our recitals are only an hour long and free for all involved.
LEVEL UP MUSIC ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM
Our nationally-recognized Level Up Music Achievement Program has helped our students enthusiastically make progress on their music lessons for over 10 years. Students are rewarded for their progress as they climb through the 10 levels of the program. We like to think of it as a martial arts black belt program for music lessons. Though optional, we highly encourage all Expressions students to participate in this program, so they feel more motivated to master their instruments.
MONTH-TO-MONTH LESSON STRUCTURE
At Expressions Music Academy in Rockville, our students aren’t forced into any long-term quarterly or annual commitments for their music lessons. Instead, they only commit to strings lessons for one month at a time.
